She insists on being called Kat by anyone she meets. Her closest friends have a few different names for her but the most popular is Kitty. Although society would label Kat as bisexual, she prefers to consider her self unlabeled. She isn't necessarily attracted to women more than she is to man, but she it open to the possibility of being with a girl. She has definitely experimented with girls sexually in college. And she is not afraid to tell you that it is just as good as being with a man. Ultimately Kat will probably end up with a man, but for her young years she is open to almost anything. Kat is an extremely likeable person. She is funny, sweet, caring and fun. She is a party animal and you can count her in for pretty much any activity. She loves to live her life on the wild side, so she spends most nights staying out all hours of the night, and then always pays for it the next day. Coffee is Kats main source os sustenance. She cannot survive without the caffeinated liquid. Her body only manages to continue running with its support. She doesn't understand how people can survive without the beverage. Her order is known by everyone at the local coffee shop. When Kat is not out partying like a crazy person, she is in the tattoo shop, learning. She is a intern artist at the shop, learning the ways of the ink world. She has gotten to know almost all of the regulars in the shop, and she has befriended most of them. She loves to get to know new people, and isn't afraid to walk right up to someone she doesn't know and start a conversation. history Kat was born in Sacramento. She had two older brothers, the oldest-Mark- being eleven years older than her and the youngest-Benjaman or Bennie- being five years older than her. She was an accident, her parents hated the kids, they believed they drug them down, but they did not believe in abortion. So the had Kat despite their well known dislike for the two boys they had already. They were abusive mentally and physically, but Kat managed to escape physical beatings for the first five years of her life. Her oldest brother didn't care much for her, and he was just ready to get out of the house, but her middle brother loved her. He used to take the blame for anything she did just so his parents would leave her alone. The first time Kat got beaten it was over a broken glass. Bennie had been over at a friends house working on a science project, so there had been no one to take the blame. Kat had cried for hours after the beating. She had sat in her room and cried until Bennie came home to hold her. She still remembered that day even though it was so long ago. After that first beating the gates opened. Her parents beat her over almost anything she did that they didn't like. She once got slapped across the face by her mother for eating the last slice of pizza in the fridge. She learned to avoid her family as often as possible, taking on extra curricular activities at school, she joined every sports team, took part in every drama event and even ran for class president in middle school. Things were pretty good for a while, but when Kat was twelve the beatings started up again, this time worse than before. One day Kat came home and her father was in a rage, he had been drinking all day as it was his day off. He started yelling at Kat, telling her she was stupid and a whore. He told her she might as well begin her carrier as a prostitute and then he tried to take off her clothing. She fought back, kicking and screaming until Bennie came into the house. Bennie nearly killed their father that day, beating him to a bloody pulp. Kat finally called the cops. They had to pry Bennie off of their father so they could load his unconscious form into the ambulance. Kat had tried to explain that it was not his fault, but they cuffed Bennie and took him away in the police cruiser. Kat was taken to a foster home after that. She became just another troubled kid in the system. Bennie was taken to juvvie for the beating that he had delivered to their father, and their father was taken to prison he was given six years. Kat spoke to him regularly, but she never heard from Mark. Not once did her oldest brother attempt to get her out of the system. He just let her bounce from foster home to foster home. Kat was always ready to go, just incase. When Kat was fifteen, Bennie got her out of the system. He had secured a steady job an apartment large enough for both him and his sister. Since his records were sealed the day he turned eighteen he did not have an issue gaining legal guardianship of his sister. Kat lived with Bennie until she graduated high school. She then left, claiming she needed to explore while she was young. She traveled the country before settling down back in Sac. She got her bachelor's in art at Sacramento State University. Then she up and moved herself to Modesto just a few months ago. |
