Cai, Eli Yuan [DONE]

Eli has somehow become a nice balance between annoyingly cocky and hyper-self-conscious, occasionally complaining about something and the next minute boasting about how awesome his hair looks. He's very protective over his twin brother, Eddi Rui Cai (Rui), and he'll willing get into fights if someone threatens his brother, despite barely having a shred of muscle on him. He's even more protective of his baby sister Becky, even though most kids, including Becky, for whatever reason never like Eli much and instead prefer Rui.
Eli is very smart, not quite Ivy League status but very close, and he confidently applied to Ivy Leagues when trying to get into college, but instead ended up at UC Davis. Being out of school, he still has a thirst for learning and is very active in keeping up with the world news, as well as trying to keep his ability to speak both Korean and Taiwanese.
Eli's mildly shy when meeting new people, but not to a noticeable extreme, more like he's just awkward when meeting new people. He has a good heart and is caring for others, and he will defend his friends without a second thought. He's usually pretty quiet in a group setting unless they're watching soccer, as to which he "truly becomes a man," as his father so kindly put it.


Eli Yuan Cai was born five minutes before his fraternal twin brother, Eddi Rui Cai, on Star Wars Day in 1990 (May 4th). They were born in San Jose, CA to a Taiwanese father and Korean mother. Eli and Rui were the best of friends, growing up with a normal childhood, playing with the other neighborhood kids and all together living the good life.
In middle school, when the hormones began changing the boys' minds, they both noticed something was different than what they learned in school. Rui told his brother he liked boys the way the teacher had said they were supposed to like girls. Eli told him he felt the same, but still liked girls, too. They got the names for it, slowly coming into their own as Eli began identifying as bisexual.
But by high school, people were starting to tease the twins. Eli was too effeminate despite being one of the only freshman to make the varsity soccer team in history, and Rui was gay. Even though Rui never said it, somehow people still found out. Eli spent a painful few months watching helplessly as his brother would come home bruised or cut up, forcing Rui into a shell that Eli occasionally had a hard time getting through. Eli began fighting back when he saw his brother getting bullied, but it instead would just earn them all detention, on top of bruises.
Eli was only a sophomore when he severely injured his leg during soccer practice, having to go as far as getting rods in his leg to make sure the bones healed right. He wasn't able to return to playing soccer professionally after that, and instead he'd just watch from the sidelines, or spend more time with his brother.
The rest of high school saw Eli protecting his practically-broken brother, who, after Eli told his parents he was bi, was too scared to even tell his parents why he was getting beaten up on a daily basis because they didn't react well to that news.
Once he reached 18, Eli was scouted for a rather peculiar job position. Someone claiming to be a representative from Coat West company, saying he'd be perfect for their videos, and they were running an American side of the company that was just beginning. Eli researched, realizing they were a porn company, but finding himself oddly intrigued. Mostly because of the pay, as his parents were too rich in the government's eyes for him or his brother get money for college, and so it was either pull out loans or have their parents use their retirement savings to put the two of them through college. Eli called the company and agreed to it, and thus began his life as a gay-porn star. While it originally took him a while to get used to the job, he's since grown into it and even has his own little fan base online.
Around the time they began college, Eli's parents announced they were pregnant again. It was unexpected, but soon enough into the pregnancy the family found out it would be a girl, and everyone was excited. Becky Chan Cai was born in 2008, and even though everyone loved her, she instantly loved... Rui. Eli's still trying to win her affections, but it doesn't mean they're not close.
After Eli graduated from college, he took a step back to look at his direction in life. Still young at only 21, he still had no idea what he wanted to do, and even his degree was a bit of a mess with a double major and a minor, all different from each other. For now, he's spending his time at his job before they deem him too old and paying off his student loans, which he's happy to say isn't much of a threat anymore. While he still lives at home, he spends a lot of time out of the house either hanging out with Rui or his friends.
