REITER, Leo D.

Leo is a character who may seem complicated at times, but he's actually very simple. The man has two moods: upbeat and calm. Both are obvious. He's friendly enough, not one to turn down conversation if the person piques his interest but also not prone to wasting his time with someone who doesn't for the sake of politeness- though, he will be polite. There's no need to ever be rude. He's actually happy with what he is and how he lives. Having left home at a young age, Leo is used to sleeping on hard surfaces and having to watch every penny he spends; oddly, it's not something he despises (but currently he is renting a room as he checks the town out). He's a bit impulsive and his sense of humor is heavily laced with playful sarcasm. Commitment? What is the word. Being the 'creative, wandering soul' that he is, Leo has no desire at all to settle down, whether it be with someone else or just in general, for example with an actual job that pays consistently.


As mentioned previously, Leo left home when he was only a teenager, about fifteen years old. School was confining and he was tired of having to spend all his energy keeping his grades up and doing stupid projects that would mean absolutely nothing past the point that they were graded. Instead of finishing and getting his diploma, he took his love and hit the road.. His love meaning all of his art supplies. He received help now and then and started to sell paintings he made on random every day objects out on the street. Despite being a bum, he is a talented one, and he always managed to make enough to keep his stomach from running on empty and to keep a few quarters to wash his clothes. Along his journey he ended up in old Modesto, California. What the place has to offer to him, he cannot wait to see, but he knows that he won't be staying forever.
