general likes alcohol, socializing, parties, helping others, cheap coffee, sleeping, teasing/joking around, the winter months, animals (except.. anything that's not a bird or mammal), studying, medicine. dis-likes aggressive people, 'macho' types, cigarettes & their smell, sour candy, stupid recklessness (extreme sports are cool, but not jumping into the pool from the roof), people who are too stuck up or stiff, math, Starbucks, having to wake up early, surprises, "Oh I wanted to tell you something-- wait, never mind". strengths reliable, analytical, confident, easy-going, warm/amiable (at least at first when he holds back his judgement), medical knowledge, independent. weaknesses stubborn, holds grudges, wary (though it's usually hidden, people are under close scrutiny until he decides if he likes them or not), sensitive, very secretive, refuses help, fears accidentally hurting someone (pertains mostly to future nursing, as in messing up with a patient), being helpless, amounting to nothing in life. habits often pauses before speaking to make sure he isn't saying anything stupid, chews the ends of his pens, lip biting, night owl behavior. personality First thing first, Aaron hates his first name. From what he knows he was named after his father, and he would rather not be named after such a person and prefers to go by his last name-- Gage. Now, Gage is a pretty simple guy. He goes to school and work, loves to have fun, to goof off, to play around, to eat and sleep in as much as he can and he of course loves animals.. that aren't reptiles or anything with scales. Those he actually has a bit of a fear of. He's the person who will initially give the benefit of the doubt, and until someone fucks up, they're on his good side and he's willing to help them out as much as he can. Break that trust, and he'll make sure you never forget whatever it was that you did. His temper isn't easy to bring out but it is there. It's buried under a mountain of patience. history His history isn't the most pristine nor luxurious, but he's a hard-working guy with an "always protect the weak" mentality-- part of the reason he chose to be in the medical field. Gage lived in poverty with rumors of a sister and his only parent, his mother, offering no answers. She worked multiple jobs to be able to pay the bills and as soon as he was old enough, Gage went and made money in whatever way he could. Naturally this got him into some trouble, but nothing too serious. When his mother passed away he was nineteen years old; having nothing left to leave behind. Gage took to exploring the rest of California. He bummed around for a while, crashing from couch to couch, until he finally decided to make something out of his life and get back on track with his education. At the time he had ended up in Modesto, and after straightening his stuff out and getting a place to stay and a part-time job, he returned to college and is now in his third year for nursing. |
