DUCHANE, Robyn Elizabeth

Robyn was the first of four children born into the Duchane family and easily the most rebellious of the lot, though all of them have had their share of rebellion. Marcus Duchane is a wealthy lawyer in Los Angeles and their mother, Lisa, owns a fashionable little boutique. Needless to say, the family had money and was always well off. This meant that the kids spent the majority of their time with a nanny or various baby sitters, seeing their parents only late at night. This is the reason that Rob gives for her rebellious streak, though she knows that she was born with it. Her father likes to say that it was all karma because he put so many people away who did ‘dumb shit’ just like her. Not that it stopped her actions any. Robyn excelled in school, simply so she could get away. She moved out of the LA area as quickly as she could to Modesto. It was here, at nineteen, that she became an apprentice in the local tattoo parlor. It was hard work, but she was determined. She got her first tattoo in the parlor and all of them since have come from the place and her fellow co-workers. After finishing her apprenticeship, she was allowed on as a full time artist, something that she takes rather seriously. Honestly, its about the only thing that she takes seriously. That and her love of music. On the weekends, if her schedule isn’t packed at the tattoo parlor, she spends her time DJing, spinning dupstep mixes to her heart’s content.

Robyn is complicated to say the least. The girl has always been intelligent but she’s never exactly flaunted that aspect of her life. Instead, she’s always pushed her creativity at people. She wanted to share her art with the world in its various forms. And honestly, not a lot stopped her. Other than being arrested for spray painting a bridge. But sometimes, risks like that have to be taken to get your art out there. She’s friendly, but she has her limits. Meaning that if you’re a total asshole, she won’t give you the time of day unless it’s to pick a fight with you. She’s tough and she won’t back down from people, not that she often throws herself into fights. She tends to steer from physical violence but she isn’t above it. Rob loves new people and is all about joking around with everyone, if people can understand her sarcastic sense of humor that is. She’s the kind of person who take a jab at you all in good fun, and then probably buy you a cupcake in case she hurt your feelings with the jab. Relationships have always been a rocky territory for her. She realized at an early age that instead of wanting to date boys, she wanted to be one of them. She preferred hanging with the guys and girls were the ones that captured her attention. Of course, this was yet another aspect of her life that was forbidden by her parents and reason that she ran the second she got the chance. Because of this part of her life though, she's rather open minded about other people's situations and hardships. She'll be the first to give you a shoulder to cry on and good advice, if you can get past her boyish looks and sarcastic remarks.
