Eva loves life a lot, but her past has forced her personality to sometimes appear as though she fears life. Eva loves those that she considers her family, especially her father and late mother. Knowing what happened to them before she was in the picture and then what happened, well it is hard for her not to love them. She fears being alone the most, because for the first few years of her life, she felt very much alone, even though others were with her. She has this want to be loved by others because she felt like it was lacking as a young child. She is very sweet and kind, always listening to her father no matter what. Eva is also very generous since it was how she was helped in her young life. She is gifted with public speaking and working with young children to help them with problems, something that will probably give her a career path in the future. However, she is haunted by her own demons like everyone else. Living in poor conditions as a child, she is scared of spiders to the point of going into a panic attack when she sees one. She is constantly fidgeting or nail biting, something she thinks is completely disgusting too! When nervous she starts to do one of the two without her own knowledge and when she realizes becomes very upset with herself. history Evangeline Paige Voclain was born on May 25th to her mother, Mary Bonheur in New Orleans, LA. Being nicknamed Eva by her single mother, she knew nothing of her father, but her mother did. The man was merely a summer fling that she thought meant something to him, but it didn't. The man spoiled her constantly and when school started her returned to LSU with his friends and left her pregnant and alone. Upon telling her family, all of whom were old fashion Christians who were exactly Christians, they hated her. Her father tossed her belongs from her home, her mother cried and tried to make him stop, but he refused to allow his "whore" of a daughter and her child to stay. Mary kept in touch with her mother, but she realized that she had to go away in order to start a life without problems from her family. Mary and Eva moved to northern Louisiana when Eva was only 2 years old, with only a limited amount of month in her pocket. As they stayed at a bed and breakfast, Mary saw how happy the owner's children were playing and she asked them if they would take care of her daughter if she sent them money and she promised to come and visit while she had her off days. The family agreed and so Eva became an extended addition to the Travers Family. She was five years old when they finally showed their true colors and started treating her badly. She slept in the dank basement below and had to get up early to do chores. She had hoped that she would be able to attend school, but instead the Travers forced her to Homeschool and they didn't let up on their long list of "to-dos". When she was eight years old she was out side in the even getting some things from the garden. While pulling up some plants she felt something on her hand and looked to see a black widow spider. The young girl screamed and started to shake her hands and then ran into the woods to get away from the spider. After she was there she realized she was lost and started to whimper and cry as she looked around. It was to her luck that a gentleman had heard her screams on his way into the bed and breakfast and followed the sound to the forest. When he found her, she hid but he managed to get her to come out with a kind word and a smile. His name was Jason Voclain and he stayed at the bed and breakfast for just two nights. The man watched how she was treated terrible compared to the other children and during his first day, bought her a beautiful doll to play with. During his second night he went to the basement and picked her up, placing her in his bed while he stayed down stairs and read a book in the sitting room all night. During breakfast on the third day he presented the Travers with a letter written by him, signed by Mary Bonheur and notaries by a notary from Minden, LA. It stated that he would become the legal guardian to Evangeline Paige Bonheur and that her mother had become gravely ill and died too quick for him to come and get Evangeline before she died. The Travers were angry, but were unable to stop him since he had the proper papers. Jason took Evangeline and they moved to a very small town called Shongaloo in Northern Louisiana and she grew up on beautiful land and went to a small school. The young girl grew into a beautiful woman and excelled in her school work, even managing to graduate high school two years before her original class. At the age of sixteen years old, she decided she wanted to go to California and do some college there, away from all the small town life. Her father smiled, happy that she was ready to face the world, though worried that she might be hurt one day. Giving her some supplies to help her get started, a new car and some money, he sent her off. Upon arriving she was thrilled when she was told her father had even furnished a nice apartment for her so she would be okay until she got settled. |
