Even now, up until they see the ring on his finger (or his wife giving them a dirty look). Aside from his handsome and charming physique though, Bayne has the personality to match. Sweet, charming, and very giving. The guy sometimes even has trouble saying no even when his hands are completely filled up at that moment. He took that after his mother he thinks, as she’s just the same. Which isn’t a bad thing... it can just get a bit hectic and frustrating after a while. He could never get a break then. His body type is athletic, being a former college basketball player now coach at the local high school. So you should know that Bayne is all about the healthy lifestyle, and sports of course, and wants his son to be just the same when he gets older. Oh yeah, Bayne is a husband and a father to a two and a half year old baby boy. He’s definitely considered a family man, his wife even has to scream at him to give himself a break every so often. Go to the bar, have some sort of guys night out.... she and everyone else always says that Bayne works too hard to make everyone happy. But to him, he thinks he’s evened everything out. At least now he has. He doesn’t get nearly as frustrated as he once did back in college or even high school. history Born and raised until he was twelve years old, Bayne lived in Seattle, Washington. He was the first born to a loving couple, Terri and Jake Black, who had married just one year before. Bayne was definitely an active child growing up, very loud, and very caring. By his sixth year, after kindergarten, he joined a youth basketball group to try out and immediately fell in love with it. His parents were just as active, his mother being more of an artist and his father the daredevil. They were a happy little family. Around the time he started basketball, he had two little sisters to look after. Rochelle, and Elisabeth. He had originally hoped for a little brother, but soon after his sisters had been born, he’s grown so attached and so protective of them. Around the same year, the family got their first family pet. A black labrador puppy, around three months old, named Shadow. Bayne had named her, naturally. It wasn’t too long after that that Terri found out she was pregnant, again! But this time, with twins! Bayne was really hoping for brothers this time. Because lets face it, except for his father, he was the only boy in the house. He wanted someone close to his age to play with, besides his teammates. In May of the following year, Terri gave birth to beautiful twins, a boy and a girl, Beverly and Eric. Finally, Bayne had a little brother to bond with. Fast forward a couple of years, with Bayne continuing his youth basketball group and enjoying making new friends along the way, another surprise came to the family. Another baby girl, named Jaela. By now, Bayne is connected to Eric (and Beverly) so much that he hardly notices the new baby. Being an eleven year old, it was bound to happen anyway, his parents knew that. A year later, Terri found herself a better, higher paid job in Riverside, California, and the family moved down there within a month. Bayne was sad, and of course frustrated that he had to leave all his teammates and friends in Seattle, but after throwing a going away party, and exchanged numbers, it was mostly all good again. Especially since Bayne found another basketball group to play in until he got to high school. Right. High school. Well, other than the other not so surprise of Bayne gaining another sibling, a brother this time, named Caden, Bayne managed to make the high school basketball team. He was practically among the popular crowd by then, as if he didn’t need anymore friends. Toward the end of his freshman year was when his love life started, too. It only lasted four months with Emily, and it didn’t really hurt Bayne too much. Maybe it should have, but he didn’t really see too much of a chemistry between them two. Not to mention he was only fourteen. He still had plenty of time to decide what kind of girl he was into. February passed, and Bayne’s final sibling had been born. Jayson, who is probably his favorite sibling now. Continuing on with Bayne’s love life though, by the summer before junior year, Bayne knew this one girl was the one. He had had a crush on her for some time now, since sophomore year, and he knew that she liked him, too. Well, he did when he asked her out and she said yes. Unfortunately, that relationship had an end to it as well. After a whole year of them dating, Bayne could swear Laura was the one. She was athletic like him, being on the volleyball team, and always had time for one of Bayne’s lame jokes, no matter how dorky it made him seem. Four months after their one year anniversary though, the same day Bayne was going to pick her up for their usual date night, he caught her cheating with one of the guys on the soccer team. He wasn’t even stalking her, her window happened to be open, he heard a noise that shouldn’t have been made, he peaked in her window, and saw her having a bouncing good time with “tall, dark, and handsome” number two. (he considered himself “tall, dark, and handsome” first.) He ended it there. Hurt and angry, Bayne decided it was time for a break from relationships. He graduated high school, got accepted to the local university, and moved there. Of course, by then his family decided to adopt another puppy as soon as he moved out; a red longhaired doxie named Dixie, at approximately two years old. And as a college athlete, there was no way that Bayne could go too long before having a one night stand with a college girl, Magenta. It was his birthday present, he liked to call it. They met on campus, hung out a bit, decided to have a quick fling. It went by so fast, Bayne didn’t know what to think, except that it was worth it. By the start of his sophomore year, Bayne met Paige. In fact, they met in their sports medicine class. They took to each other quite well in the beginning, and the longer they got to know each other, the more closer they got. From teasing, to shooting hoops, to a first date! And it was like a miracle to Bayne, because a couple months later, two tragedies in his life took place. First, Shadow passed away, and another month later, his parents divorced. His mother stayed with the kids in Riverside, while his father moved back up to Seattle where he, as he put it, “was happier”. So Bayne and Paige continued dating, and in November of his final year at college, Bayne managed to get a job at the local gym as a fitness assistant. It was a temporary job, at least until he graduated college, but it got him the money he needed to find an apartment for him and Paige in the future at least. And it paid off! Bayne graduated, and although Paige still had another year to go, they both decided they would move in together anyway. By January, Bayne had a new job as a youth basketball coach with one of the kids on his first team being his own little brother, Jayson. And by February, he and Paige were moved in together along with their new beagle puppy, Dobby! They were still young, Bayne being only twenty-three, but after dating for nearly four years, Bayne knew it was time to pop the question. He bought the perfect ring, proposed in the most casual way at home, and Paige said yes! Only thing was... Paige had something to surprise Bayne with as well. She was pregnant! Prior to finding out Paige was in fact four months pregnant and had just been hiding her bump in nothing but sweatshirts, the couple decided to throw a double baby shower the next month. Because a few months before they had found out that Bayne’s sister, Rochelle was also pregnant. Now to fast forward to the present time. Bayne and Paige thought it best to move to a slightly bigger place what with the new baby and their dog running around, and found a comfy apartment in Modesto, California. Bayne and Paige’s son, Devyn Joel Black was born happy and healthy on August 7, 2012. And because Paige didn’t want to get married with that huge baby bump, they placed the wedding a few months after the birth of their baby boy, making their wedding anniversary on Halloween itself! Devyn is nearing his second birthday now, and Bayne couldn’t be any happier with how his life has turned out. And what’s even better is that a week or so after Devyn’s second birthday, Bayne got hired as the basketball coach at the local high school, as well as the new PE teacher. So not only is he getting paid a higher salary, but he’s doing something he loves! |
