general likes coffee, martial arts, languages, Asian pop, her siblings, being a mom dislikes society's view, distorted feminism, cooking, cleaning strengths a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, parenting, good listener weaknesses stubborn, desperate for independence, doesn't like being "taken care of" fears bugs, clowns, adulthood habits bites her nails, though she never breaks them, brushing hair out of her face personality Paige has always had a natural, motherly instinct to her. Not even three years old, her family welcomed her younger brother into the world and she immediately seemed to know how to make him smile. She adores kids, and it's quickly evident when watching her as a mother. She's gives off the air of always being perfect. People who don't know her probably assume she never had any problems growing up, and lived a perfect life. Yes, she is smart and always got straight A's, but her life was nowhere near perfect. It's hard to tell the hardships she had based on her personality. She's always smiling, chipper, and will lend an ear or do something goofy when her friends or family are in a bad mood. history Paige was born to Elisya Kita in Hong Kong, while her mother was teaching in the country. Her father had been no where in the picture since he was informed of the pregnancy, but that was no matter. For elementary school, Paige moved eight times, from Hong Kong, to Mainland China, to Taiwan, to Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, and finally to her mother's home country, the United States. Prior to actually moving there, she had only visited the U.S a few times for her mother to make her a citizen or renew passports. Even though she couldn't make close friends, she still enjoyed her experiences living abroad. Whilst in Korea, Elisya fell in love and remarried a Korean man, and Paige welcomed her half-brother, HaSun, into the family. However, after her step-father turned violent towards her and HaSun, Elisya filed a divorce and moved countries. While still in elementary school, Paige's mother explained adoption to her, and how she was going to adopt a... troubled young boy into the family. At age eight, Paige met the most enraging four year old she ever knew, Aeron. And now she was expected to call him brother. She was miserable for a little while. When she was eleven, and after they had just settled in Riverside, California, they welcomed another brother, this one, in Paige's opinion, much cuter, Thongchai. But with Thongchai, she learned there were horrors in this world she couldn't understand yet, like child trafficking and the curse known as HIV. Still, she loved taking care of Thongchai, and would spend time after school teaching him English. Growing up, Paige made friends by trying various sports. Her favorites were Tae Kwon Do and basketball. By high school, she was a black belt and on the varsity team. She was thriving in the sports environment, and her mother didn't stop her from pursuing what she loved. As a part-time job, she began teaching the white belt class where she was learning it. By college, she was beginning to wonder if she'd ever get a boyfriend. Many of her friends were dating, if not getting married, and she had been alone all her life. It was then she met Bayne, and he was perfect in every way. Sporty, sexy, and manly. They became friends before they began dating. She moved in him first of all, and soon enough found out she was pregnant. It was on the same day she got to put a ring on her finger that she told the news to Bayne. Wanting the dream wedding without wanting to turn into a bridezilla, however, they did not get married until after they welcomed Devyn Joel Black into the world on August 7, 2012. As expected from when she was younger, Paige filled into the motherly role perfectly, and after maternal leave and her marriage, she's learned to easily balance work and parenting. Before Devyn was born was when they decided to move to Modesto, where she now quite happily teaches kids Tae Kwon Do. |
