general likes • being a mom • animals • horseback riding • cooking dislikes • Angel's sarcasm • liars/cheats • when Angel signs too fast on purpose • crowds strengths • fairness • ASL • confident weaknesses • pushover • over-protective • stubborn fears • losing her family • storms habits • biting her lip • signing even when Angel is capable of hearing personality Anyone would be lucky to have Trinity as a friend, or even an acquaintance. She’s caring, sweet, outgoing, and all with a little bit of southern spice. She doesn’t have much of one anymore, but every once in a while you’ll catch a bit of her southern accent slip out every so often. One of her favorite hobbies to do, other than be with her family, is ride horses. If she ever has time in her busy life, she will look up the nearest ranch just to pick out a horse to ride for the day. Or even just hang out and talk to. It’s one of the few things that helps clear her head when it’s about to explode. Another one of Trinity’s hobbies is cooking. It’s fairly recent, ever since she moved to California really, but she’s come to really enjoy it as well as become excellent at it. Trinity doesn’t have many friends, but doesn’t oppose to the idea either. She’s open to meeting new people, getting to know them, and hanging out with them. But one thing that will always stand in her way of her friends, is her newly forming family. Family is everything to her and would be devastated if anything happened to any of them. history Trinity Maya McKinney has always been the country girl having been born and raised on a farm in North Dakota. It was just her aunt, uncle and herself. Her mother died giving birth to her and her father passed away from a heart attack when she was three. So it’s safe to say she never really had parents. She loves her aunt and uncle as if they were her parents though. They were just as protective and caring as any other parents would be. Trinity has always been a hard worker in both farm chores and house chores. She spent most of her time outdoors, but it was either for chores or to go horseback riding, one of her absolute favorite things to do. Her horse, Sugarlump, she’s taken care of since she was five years old. They grew up together, had adventures together, they did everything together. She would do her homework with her even. Up until high school, Trinity was homeschooled, and it was hard to go to a regular school at first. Especially when she didn’t know much of anybody. It was a small school though, and with how sweet and generous and open Trinity was, she became one of the most liked student there. She’s had a couple boyfriends in her high school years, too. Literally a couple. She’s only ever had two boyfriends. The first one, Liam, she fell for fast. She was fifteen, a sophomore, and he was not only flirty, but he was charming as well. Unfortunately, that only lasted a few months when Trinity found out he was only trying to get in her pants. She ended it with him. She was single for a while after that. Well, until her senior year anyway. Prom was approaching fast, and a few months before the tickets came out, Trinity thought she would finally ask out Greg, a fellow senior she’s had a crush on since the end of her junior year. He said yes, and from that moment until about a week after graduation, they were happy. What ended it was the fact that Trinity had gotten accepted into a college all the way across the country in California, while Greg would be staying in state. The distance didn’t sit well for either of them, so they ended that. Trinity had mixed feelings about moving to California. She would be away from her home, her friends, her family... and Sugarlump. She would probably miss that horse the most, aside from her aunt and uncle who practically raised her from birth. But by the time she made it there, got her dorm, and started classes, she was glad she made the choice. She was loving everything that was happening, the views, the people... Trinity was also glad she made the choice to leave North Dakota single. It gave her a more clear head to start a new life away from home from. That is, until she met Angel Kim. Originally, he was a student teacher in her ASL class, but even with him being a student teacher, Trinity couldn’t help but fall for him anyway. They started dating regardless of what would happen if they got caught, but they were happy with it. By the time Angel returned to being a regular student, people found out, and the most that happened since Angel wasn’t a worker there, was giving him a basic slap on the hand. Trinity was glad they didn’t get in as much trouble as she thought. Their relationship continued happily, even after Trinity found out not only about Angel having a son, Daniel, but that Angel also had Meniere’s disease. Which only got her even more entitled into learning ASL and fast. Now Trinity is in her final year at Modesto Junior College and is still with Angel to this day. And. They have a child together, little Marisol Sonia Kim. It’s something Trinity was never planning having doing during her time in California, especially when she was still in school, but it was what it was, and she was proud nonetheless. |
