DANIEL MIN KIM pisces student 10 march 11, 2005 homosexual mason moon |
general likes chocolate, television, reading, basketball, drawing dislikes spinny rides, loud noises, his maternal grandparents, his peers strengths independent, mature, strong-minded weaknesses awkward with peers, loud mouth, occasionally swears fears getting Meniere's Disease, something happening to his dad habits plays with his fingers/fingernails when talking, spinning a pen/pencil around his fingers personality Daniel is a strong young boy who's fiercely independent for his age. Already showing signs of maturity, his dad has no worries about leaving him home alone because Daniel's proven nothing bad will come of it, as they boy knows to not even answer the door. He speaks carefully, and is rather smart, though he tries his best to be interested in the same things his peers are. He has an artistic mind not yet hindered by too many electrical devices, though he was finally granted a phone, no thanks to Trinity. He's very kind, especially to kids younger than him or animals, but conversely, he really gets annoyed with his baby sister, Marisol. With her, one can witness the "other side" of Daniel, where he has a short-temper, snappy attitude, and all around actually acts like the kid he is. Angel never believed in keeping anything from Daniel, and so Daniel is already knowledgeable about things most people would consider "too adult," such as things viewed in the news, sex and reproduction, and the like. history Daniel Min Kim was born to teenage parents Angel and Anna Kim. Although it was a rough start, with Daniel often being taken care of by his grandparents while his parents finished school, Daniel still turned out for the better, it would seem. From age two, Daniel began learning sign language, and his father would argue Daniel's better than he is by now. After his parents broke up, he was living with his mom and her parents. He doesn't remember much from it, though, even now. He does remember the second custody battle, though. And he remembers his dad talking with him about moving. When they moved to California, Daniel's initial reaction was he loved it. The weather was his favorite, especially since they moved at the end of the snowy season in New York. Daniel has since come into himself more, making friends and finding a passion in basketball. Although he doesn't really quite realize it yet, he is gay, and the more he learns about it, the more he's coming to accept it's how he identifies. He will still talk to his mother on Skype, their relationship not as broken as the one caused by his maternal grandparents treatment of him. He's gotten used to being alone, as well, as his dad really didn't have much choice but to let him be home alone before Trinity became a part of their lives. Although he was initially happy to become an older brother, he didn't quite get exactly what that entailed. Being forced to school with little sleep because a baby was crying all night to pooping on him (that was a messy day) has made Daniel really hate the idea now, even going as far as wishing his dad had never met Trinity so Marisol wouldn't have been born. |
